Im the one who dropped the bug in mikes ear.. I have one better hover analogs done with LTV's Simply hover you finger over the spot where the analogs used to be..

nope we could use presure resisters they dont move and unlike touch sensors they require a mesure of force to activate..

im really a bit skepticle. also i dont know how well this will roll over, i like resting my fingers on the triggers and analog sticks, it would really suck to hafta sit there and hold then so far away just so not to activate them..no offense or anything. although the triggers would be sick

Because if so

On almost every controllers the buttons are capacitive, that is how button pressure is read.

a tomatoe is still a tomateo but if you need further clarification he means smooth spots on the controller that measure force and or resistence changes made by the body so there is no mechanical buttons..

Yeah, and the fact the touch sensitive media buttons for my Dell XPS laptop are called capacitive buttons..

You kow foo foos design was great, but looked akward wit hthe d-pad. This design looks much more natural wit hprobably just as good as performance as foo foos, if not as better. When will the tutorial be put up for this. Also anyone know of a tutorial for button mapping on the 360 controllers?
