Ok i have an idea
Since the sound waves from a guitar go through strings on a guitar.
if you soldered 4 wires to 4 buttons ABXY like Gh2 controls on a controller. and pu the wires at the end of the fretboard oposite of the tuners
could the sound waves of an electric guitar activate these buttons.?

For the Pick.
1 wire - solder it to the stick on the controller[where it connects to the board] 
take a pick and theother end of the wire And wrap the 2 in aluminum foil and pluck each sting like as it where a button on the controller.


ABXY---wired----Guitar Sting
Left Stick-----wired----aluminum foil around pick.

Please tell me if this would work.

Saw this before on YT.

It doesn't work prticularly well.

Here is an idea.

Custom made 3 string guitar.

Ground going up all 3 strings.
Wire from strum to a metal pick.
5 frets. 3 strings over them (No song has more than a 3 note chord at once).
The metal part at the end of each fret wired to the colors. Like if the string was pressed down on the 5th fret is pressed then Orange would light.

That would make it more authentic without sucking.

Feel free to critisize only if you have an improvement :P.
