hey guys here's another pad i've hust made its awsome
fitted with hazers 3 mode stealth (red rapid fire indication)
a darker green ROL not that you can realy tell
a lit green dome
a lit green D-dap
lit green triggers
and a lit green bottom peice

the triggers Dpad and bottom peice are all off of a xcm case.
but none of them usualy glow hence y i put them on this pad and added 8 leds as well as 4 new green leds for the ring and a red 1 for rapid fire indication

just type XCM into google or ebay and u'll find a selection of case's i bought a £20 clear green case and am in the process of spreading it between 3 of my controllers.

Custom Airbrushed with automotive paints! It is super BRIGHT...It doesn't look that bright in the pictures though

Could i ask where you got those transparent triggers from because i would like to use your idea and create a controller like yours, if thats ok with you.

I have got the bottom piece and the dpad BTW.

all the clear parts came straight off of the halo green xcm crystal case.

you can also get other color crystal case but none seem to av the dpads.

if anyone knows where to get 1's with dpads that are a different color?????????????????????

Here are my controllers that i use most often
The red controlelr consits of :
Red led swap
rumble activated led on side
BMU3 rapid fire 3 mod sleeper with 3rd player as indicator with 3 shot burst
The green has:
Blue led swap
555 timer rapid fire with pushpin button on back

ok here's my lastest 360 controller . its lush.....

i call it BEATEN...... (black and blue....)

black n blue.MOV

its fitted with blue ring of light (white rapid fire light...
2x5mm blue leds in the triggers
2x5mm blue leds in the bottom peice
2x5mm blue leds in the dome
2x0603 blue leds in the bumpers....

and a 3mode stealth rf (hazers BMU3)

i did the same mod lighting the triggers and i did the dpad instead on a matrix and it wasent that bright but then again matrix runs at a lower voltage

i mostly try to only work on cg pads as they are the best for modding.

if doing lighting mods on matrix pads just use a switching transistor on the switch 2v and the constant 3 volt then your lights are exactly the same as on cg.....

cg2 is a bit odd i've only seen/modded 1 of them n couldnt be bothered to find a switched voltage on it so i just used a constant voltage only thing that means is you gotto take the battery out to turn the mods off. no biggy as i take my batterys out to turn my pad off any way....

what d-pad did you light up???? was it a clear 1 like the 1 one my green glow pad (up a few post's)?????

ya it was clear and ya i know the transitor the highest voltage i found on a cg2 was 2.8 i have the board next to me with a multimeter as i type.

OK so I've been gone for quite a while but being unemployed now I have a ton of time on my hands, so I figured I'd start modding again and start with something fairly simple so here's the start of a new project:

controller ring of light mod, ROL colors match the ABXY button colors, only 3 more controllers and the system ROL to go and it should all match up, a different color for each synched controller...

thanks to solder connectors my skills are a bit rusty but I only knackered one pad, #2 cathode.

still haven't decided on any paint schemes yet for the controllers or the system...

meh, I'll find a job eventually, till then at least I can get some modding done

yeah, the system ROL and all 4 controllers will have the same color LEDs in the same positions kinda like a color coded display of controller assignments so C1=blue, C2=Yellow, C3=Green, C4=Red

Wouldn't this only work on the system's ROL as long as it was laying/standing the appropriate direction? Or did you find a way to stop the ROL from switching C1 and C2 positions when it goes from the Vertical to Horizontal position?

yes it only matches when the console is vertical, but I'm working on getting it to not change position when the console goes from vertical to horizontal, I think it will only be a matter of cutting a leg on the ball switch and rerouting it to the vertical leg...

not posted on here in ages so fort i would put up my xbox pad its a cg2 pad with lights in most of the buttons it has a extra b button in the back for when im playing mw2 also has a 7 mode rapid fire chip let me no what u think

My first non-rapidfire mod.

Not finished yet... gonna give it another few coats ans put some clear protection layer on it.

Also gonna have a gloss tribal symbol... or something else on the right side.

Going to replace LEDs at some point, planning to get some evil sticks and a new d-pad.

Mostly Matte Black, Center X button is gloss black, as is the panel near the headset socket.

plain mod jsut changed the start and select button for now its the only one working
