You won't get off from school for RAIN. Freezing rain just signifies it being extremely cold rain. Not ice, or anything like that. You might get ice, though, because of the subfreezing temperatures.

It's quite nice out where I am. I don't even need a sweatshirt (only slightly chilly. Maybe low 40s?).
I wish it would snow, though..

no its really icy out there saw a 10 car pile up today because of it but its really cold and boring out there
Today at school i almost Killed myself because of ice on the bridge at my school after that they put sand on the bridge.

LOL I live up in good ol' Canada... In Celcius, we average at about -10 degrees, there have been days with 20 cm of snow, and we have snow banks on the side of the road about 4-5 feet tall...

Yeah I love it. I also got some sweet skiis today and I live about 1km away from a ski hill.

We also got 7 snow days last year and this year we've already had 2...

The british winter sucks. We're lucky to get 1 snow day, it just RAINS here. Occasionaly we've had some ice this year (causing my dad to rack up £4000 worth of damage to his car) but not much. It goes down to about -4 in the mornings and 7 in the daytime (Celsius).

wow.... i am in Alberta, Canada ... here it is -35 and with wind chill its - 45 ..... freking windows are frozen, you can't got outside without like 5 layers... and there is like 30cm snow outside....

wow i feel very lucky here considering i live in hawaii the tempature is nice and warm each day it does not get too hot here and the nights are nice and chilly but never drops below 40 degrees

Is that all that matters to you? Having a day off school? They send you to school for a reason. Thqat is to LEARN. I'm not saying you shouldn't be looking foward to a day off school but to be going on about it makes you look like you don't appreciate what you have got given to you.School is for FREE. There are SO many children who wish they were in our position. Who wish they could read. All for you getting giddy at even a hint of a day off school.

Yeah i can see what your saying but my school costs over $4,000 a year it's not free.
