DANM its a tight ass fit.
I've been working on this for about a day so far and I just got all of it to fit inside the PSP slim. The case is bulging a little and I still have to do the wiring, but I'll fix those problems in a few days (damn work getting in the way of things...)

BUT IT CAN BE DONE!
A lot of trial and error to get things to fit, but its not impossible!

Yeah, I'll take some pix right now,
its not DONE, so its still a work in progress,
no wires, no spring in the nub and still have to fix a little bulging.

1 sec, stay up 10 more min and I'll have pix of my work in progress.

Pix as promised:

Yeah, I'm kinda hesitating a little with the wiring. I can do it, but its just a big problem if I mess up.

I was kinda wondering the same, and trust me the thought did cross my mind a few times.

You can get the width right but I still haven't seem to get the height right, yet. Somehow I need to pull about 2 cm off the top of the to make it fit right.

I think can get the 2 cm from taking more off the bottom of the AC plug and cutting the case a little more but then I would have a 2 cm gap on top.
idk yet, I'm going to think about it some more and maybe 123sample explain a little more clearly.

nice vid, but do you think you could take some more detailed pix of the nub?
I'm having troubles fitting it all, I got the width, but some how I need to cut about 2 cm off the top to make it all fit.

Nice tut good work.. you guys know that you can remove the power charger plug and wire up the USB port for usb charging even when your PSP is off.. you could even mod the charger so that it would have the USB end... This way you have more room in the PSP to work with..

But I like what you have done here real nice!!!

Unless you get one off a member here. Make a post in the auctions section, and somebody may be willing to let go of one. Remember to accept rules though.

Hi guys, Is me again. I got the PSP slim and trying to add the second analog. I invested about 5 hours of my life trying to put together the analog with the little loving spring. >=(
Well now the problem is I found the tutorial for the slim, just that how am I gonna solder the cables to the small points in the power board. T_T
Is there any way to install the second analog without removing the AC power jack?

If you have any tips for soldering the razor x please let me know. I would really appreciate.

I'm sure that all you have to do for the power jack is just to file it down a little bit as long as you are using the razor X kit.  If you're using the razor 1 or 2, then you'll have to relocate the power jack and power board.  Be EXTREMELY careful when you try to solder the wires to the motherboard, if you mess up that ZIF connector, your out 80$ to replace it!(entire mobo)

Hello.
I have ice silver psp slim.
Can I use slim grey analog ? - like this http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10794
Can I do it without remove power board or yellow power socket ?
I can crop yellow power socket, analog or something.

Thanks for a reply.
Sorry for my bad English,

Hi

I haven't try slim analog yet, here in this tutorial, I'm using 1000 Family analog

Oh yes you can do it, but it takes time to exactly fit in,
but others said it will be easier if you remove yellow power socket, and do USB Charge mod,
so you will have a lot more space to work,

It's actually depends on you, how would you make it, it's all on your own, as long as you know the basic theory above

Looking forward to see it, Sugoi!!!  :yess:
