Psp analog malfunctioning
« on: December 20, 2008, 10:50:11 AM »
When i replaced my lcd screen, my analog would start malfunctioning. When I went into internet browser, the cursor would move by itself southeast, but when I put pressure on it, it would go northwest. I cleaned the analog chips, the contact, and the analog circuits. I have confirmed its either:1) There's dust in the analog, or 2) Screws are too loose or too tight. I've used joysens, and it's reduced character movement due to the analog, but not fixed it. I really need help. :sadno:

theres a clear piece that sits on the contact points on the motherboard for the analog, check to make sure its not missing and fidget with that a bit until it works proper.

If you look at your nub, there's a little clear rectangular peice.
Make sure the copper wires in it are DIRECTLY on the points.
Im pretty sure that's the problem.
Happened to me many times.
