Built a DS Lite... But, i got problems! Please help!

Ok, so i built my DS Lite Looks awsome, not sure if everything works though because i cannot turn it on. I charge it... The orange light comes on, the first time i flicked the on switch the green light came on, from then on  it doesnt come on. The green light only came on for like 1 second then went off.

  Please help, is it the fuses that have blown or something?

EDIT: Its not the fuses, THe green light flashed on for like a second then comes off. A pretty frequesnt situation for many DS owners i beleive but what is the problem and how is it resolved? DS Lite bricked?

dude, try fitting the screens 100% in the connetor

Thank you for a rely, right now i would pay for the answer that works. I really want this to work by christmas.

I have already tried inserting screens but no fear, i will try once more!

Yeah, if you are having that much of a problem and honestly think you've got the screens in all the way, then I'd say it's the fuses.
