Okay well... I know that the 600 watt power supply will be sufficient in the begining but later down the road you may want to do sli or some other upgrades so I would look at something that was more along the lines of a 750 watt or more.

The graphics card is O.K. depending on how high of a resolution your monitor can display and how much gaming you will do..

Thanks for the sig dhuvrock2000

Thanks for the reply. Umm I intend on doing SOME gaming I have a 360. So most of the games I play will be on that. But I would like to have it the best possible just encase and what motherboard size is it. ATX, Micro ATX.....it doesn't say.

Thanks again
Max

EDIT: How about this power supply:

The motherboard is ATX and that power is a good choice. My friend uses the 850 watt version and its been running great.

as far as the BEST then that would be a 4870x2 but for a decent gaming card that is pretty future proof I would go with something along the lines of a gtx280

9800GTX is a decent GPU. If you are playing on a res of less than 1680x1050 it will perform well.

Well I have a 19 inch LCD monitor, and the highest I can go to right now is 1280x1024. I'm guessing it will run nicely ? Is the brand OK ? Or should I go to a ASUS ? I hear that gigabyte don't make their own boards.

Well I am personally going to buy a hd4870 that is made by sapphire for my computer after I buy my 28" Monitor...
I would recomend It.
I heard it got like 30fps in crysis on hign in 1920 x 1200 resolution :#1:
Good Luck.
Oh btw I am going to be running this off of the hx520 which is just a high quality single rail power supply.

Thanks for the sig dhuvrock2000

Which g-card brands are best. Because all I know of is Geforce and Nvidia and Asus. You seem to know your stuff well. Which brand is recommended ?

EDIT:
What RAM do your recommend, the OS is 64 bit..

Geforce is a series of GPU's that Nvidia design made for gaming, Nvidia designs GPUs for such things like GeForce and Asus just buy a 'right' off nVidia to use their GPU in asus graphics cards

My favourite brand of graphics cards is PNY though, since they seem to superclock lots of their graphics cards (more than what Rivatuner can do) but ATI even have a tool in their drivers to overclock (although even when overclocked, I only get a boost of about 10 FPS, whereas If i get omega drivers, i get a boost of about 20 FPS, and thats without overclocking, when I overclock, I get about 30 FPS boost, so thats about 60 FPS in CSS, double FPS just from software)

And ram, anything really will do, like PNY, Kingston, Crucial (just dont get those no name brands)

and if you have 64 bit, i'd go with 4gb (since its dirt cheap now) and if you will be doing alot of other things (rendering movies, lots of multi tasking) go with 8gb, might not be worth the extra money sometimes though

if its 32 bit, just go with 2gb TBH, since the graphics cards take alot up anyway

and make sure all the RAM is the same, so for example you want 4gb, and there are 1gb sticks on a site, buy 4 of them, instead of mixing and matching them, it makes it faster

Hoi! Pinoy ako!

Soz I'm a bit noob. Thanks again everyone or all your input. But today when I added the OS and 4gb of RAM it totaled up to 2.7K. Thats when my mum went spastic at me and said "throw in another two grand and you got yourself a car" and then I said "I don't like cars :P" But depressingly I won't be getting this sexy computer. This is the 3rd time my heart has been broken. I got the money, just won't let me spend that much......can't wait to move out.

Any of you modders want a room mate ?

Thanks again everyone
Max

:( God damn your lucky...

What laptop do you recommend ? :P I have 1.35K to spend. I was thinking of getting the HP pavilion one with the finger print identity thing. But don't know how much that one is...For a decent laptop what should the specs be? Also which brand is best ?

Thanks again guys.
