Is this a good mobo + processer combo http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=224598.

My limit for the motherboard and processor is around £250 ($361.95 according to xe.com).Total is about £400 and i am knicking a disc drive out of my old pc and the hard drive which has windows on it.

Don't get a pentium, it won't be good enough.
The harddrives suck, too.

Buy from tigerdirect or newegg, they are the best. I'm sure they ship out of the country.

I suggest you go with ATi over nVidia this round. They are much cheaper for the same power. Also, Intel Core 2 Q6600 is a good starting processor, much higher end then AMD at the moment. That MB you chose only goes up to 4GB DDR2. If you plan on using a 64-Bit OS, I'd go with one that can handle 8GB or more.
