I bricked my PSP via disassembly...

Well, I was trying to do the CR-3100 internalization. But when I was removing the small LCD cable, I noticed a little spark (battery was still in apparently, LOL). Either that, or maybe it's the broken speaker cable I never plugged in (I left it there because I have nowhere else to put it.

What do you guys think? I highly doubt pandora can fix this.

You cant brick it through hardware. You messed something up on the mobo.

Yeah especially becAuse you acnnot take it appart with the battery in. There are screws behind it.

I thought my psp battery fell out cuz i heard something drop. LOL

My PSP turns on, but the LCD remains off. I try pressing the volume buttons then click right or left on the dpad, but I don't hear any sound. Can't get to the recovery menu either.

I'm assuming the power board and the memory stick thing still works because the LEDs still flash.

EDIT: What do you think that I "messed up" on the mobo? Everything was working fine before, just needed to fix the D-pad level. I had the battery inside to test it because I thought the right arrow didn't work.

Yeah, I also went back in to check my CR-3100 because it was popping out of the socket a lot.

You probably blew some fuses. For LCD im gonna say Backlight fuse. And there is no sound fuse so if you blew the sound your screwsed

Well not Really screwed. There is a tut on how to fix the sound on a phat psp in the tutorial section.

No that only works if sound is on one side. What happened is his right speaker died so he bridged the power from the left speaker to the right to power both. If you blow the fuse (Its probably inside one of the mobo layers?) you are screwed. I asked ryan0 long time ago its not possible

Other thing is maybe just maybe you blew the actual speakers (Its VERY rare) so if you have some around give them a try.

Since you mentioned bricking PSPs through ESD

When ESD bricks a PSP, do you mean pandora-possible-fix brick or no power brick

Pandora fixable in most cases,depending on the chip that was hit with the charge.
