LED polarities?

do LEDs have polarities? does it matter which way the triangle goes?

0603 LEDs have a green arrow on one side and the side that the arrow points to is the negative side hope it helps

Yer 0603 They have a green or gold sometimes arrow pointing towards the negative..

thx but i got 0805 LEDs and they have a blue arrow but i'm guessing it's the same thing...

yeah usually 99% of the time where the arrow points is the - side
