« on: May 08, 2009, 10:39:31 AM »
So I just recieved my programmer...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=230337646297

And i have it all plugged in via usb to my laptop.. i open winPic800, select a programmer from the list.. i have tried all of them and non of them seem to be able to program it.. just read it.. it evens read when there is no chip in it..

is there any settings that need to be changed..?

Thanks

Ok.. Well this is the link that comes with it.. and thats all it comes with a link..

http://www.nbgelin.com/usbb.htm

But that software doesnt seem to work.. keeps saying board is un responsive..

Pretty annoying.. :/

EDIT: I just tryed changing it to JDM, then it said could not find COM1 or something.. so i changed it to USB In the JDM options... and it comes up with ' Failed To Open Ind.#0 '

:help:

Right i have been trying for hours now.. i got to the point when it tells you to find out what port to use.. and my laptop and my desktop both say a number above 10.. but the software only allows you to type a 1-Digit number... i dont have a clue what to do.. :S

Have you connected both the usband com port? I think you can change the port number on your laptop or desktop?
