Can you use Photofast 5400 With CFW?

I read somewhere that it doesnt have magic gate because of the way the photofast works, but dont you need magic gate for CFW?

Also is this slow? some people say its pretty slow. Are these things true?

...if you needed magic gate at all, it would be obvious that you would need it on OFW, and it would be removed on CFW... not the other way around. And I'm not even sure if it's required on OFW.

Is there any point to the whole magic gate thing then?
I was just asking because on a magic memory stick maker it said on it "MagicGate Required"

I mean I know its a security system on flash memory etc.

Not to keen on the MagicGate stuff (supposed to be faster then standard read times for MS sticks) but I can tell you about the CR5400 as I have two, one in my slim with a Class 6 16 Gig in slot one and a Class 6 8 Gig in slot two, and the other is in my phat with two class 6 4 gigs. They work fine, not as fast as my Sony 8 gig MS but fast enough.. (video never lags!!!)

Both PSP's run 5.00 M33-6
