Dual Nub
« on: June 04, 2009, 03:07:49 PM »
I have a question on the dual nub. Do I have to use a phat nub?? because the phat doesn't have a silver nub as far as I know, and I want it to match the existing. Or, does the top part for the slim fit onto the phat nub??

Thanks to HiddenVenom for the sig!

Are you saying about the color of the nub? or using an actual slim nub for the razor x...

I have never disasembled a slim nub, but I no for a fact the razor and a2d were designed for the phat nub, and the chances that the slim nub has a spring and casing that will fit exactly onto the board are minimal. Isn't it posible to just clip the nubby top bit of your colour onto a phat analog?

its not about fitting it, Its about it being compatable with a razor.

Wait, what is the point of disassembling the powerboard? It looks to me as if it has nothing to do with the razor...

where did that come from??

:faint: What I basically want to know:

1. Is it possible to use a slim analog stick with the razor x
2. Does the colored nub on the top of the slim analog stick fit onto the phat analog stick.

Thanks to HiddenVenom for the sig!

Oh sorry, I thought this was my Dual Nub thread, my bad..

I don't think so, it was designed for a phat.

No the razorX won't fit a slim analog, and I'm pretty sure you have to mod a slim nub top to fit it on a phat nub.

Sig by Kenshinffx - Thanks!

The only different is the top moves so thats an issue and it has the extra plastic or the pins sticking out of it.
