PS3 Controllers...

Right I'm new to the PS3, So I just need some info...

1. What different types of PS3 controller are there?

2. What are the voltages of each one?

i think they only sell dual shock 3 controllers
has 6axsis and rumble

Dual Shock 2 - Only has 6 Axis..

And

Dual Shock 3 - Both Rumble Motors And Six Axis

Wrong the dual shock 2 was only for the ps2 not ps3 although you can use it with an adapter.

What is talking about is the sixaxis controller which doesn't have rumble.  The dual shock 3 has both sixaxis and rumble.

There's also a bunch of 3rd party usb brands, my favorite of which is dreamgear's shadow controller.

So does anyone know the voltage these controllers run off..?

And also are the boards inside the same, just one has a couple of plugs for rumble motors..?

The SIXAXIS says - DC 3.7V = 30mA
The DUALSHOCK 3 says - DC 3.7V = 300mA
