LED Question.

What are those LED's called that are capable of being programmed into any color within the visible spectrum?

Preferably surface mount, 0603, of course.

Also, anyone got a link to some of those?

Yeah, basically RGB led's, but there's these kinds that I found a long time ago that had a mini microchip on them, allowing you to program the colors, how long they stay, etc. etc.

 :eyebrow:, programmable.....  RGBs will give you a wide variety of colors depending on how you run them.  Never heard of the device you are talking about, and I seriously doubt it will be 0603 size.  the ones with circuitry usually just cycle through the colors, or flash the LED, but there is no user control.
