Just an update to an old PSP I had to make it look better

Clear Chrome Red PSP

Mods Done:
Clear Backplate
Chrome red faceplate
Red Ring
Clear buttons and analogue
Power LED swap Blue
Power/Charge LED swap Blue
MS/Wifi LED swap Blue
6 Sound Reactive LEDs
USB Charge(hard modded)
CFW

In front she looks like PSP Slim cuz she has rounded corners. I've painted backplate (blue color) 'n umd door (blue/white color) - u can see that on 2nd movie.

This is the Original Mod on my PSP!
Now it has Dual Sound Active Leds in both the L + R buttons! Green on the Left Speaker and Blue on the Right Speaker!
(the Red ones Blew after a short Circuit

one power board and another 2 sets of LEDs later and its back up and running!! )

I am also working on putting 2 Speakers, Grill and more Sound activated Leds!
also i have got Rainbow LEDs that come on when the PSP is on Charge!

i have got a basic video on Utube :- (pre rainbow LED Mod!)
But the Cam i was using was not to good

i am working on getting More (better quallity) Videos uploaded this week!

RedCandy PSP, MOD - Sound activated LEDs
I tried to use the Sephroth Tune from FF7 so you can see Both sets of LEDs but the Green seems really dull compaired to the Blue Leds....

I have now Redrilled the L+R's and reset the LEDs further appart so you can see the colours better!! need a better cam to record it as well... will upload the Stage 5 Mods as soon as i find a cam that can record all the colours!!

This is a Very basic Cam (on my HTC Touch) but it shows up the Colours better than my Camera!! lol

Well here is my psp its just a housing mod I am still working on LED in the triggers and switching the power light its so hard for doing it for my first time. I did have LED in the triggers but they fell off... Dont know if i want red buttons or a different color. Is there any easier ways attaching the LED i made one right but it fell the speaker because i am directly connecting it there.

Finaly finished off my PSP1000 (RED CANDY)
this was the lst thing i did to the PSP to finish it off!

RED CANDY Finished!!

Put in a 45mm Speaker with Black grill, Added 8 LEDs (4 RED & 4 GREEN),
that shine through the Speaker and grilll!
so all in all i have got 12 LEDs (sound activated)
45mm Speaker/Grill UMD door Mod
swapped power/Charge/WiFi/MS access LEDs
Full case
UMD removed
6 way DIL switch
and GEN 2B FW!
think thats all now!! (i removed the Rainbow LEDs as they got very hot and melted the Perspex UMD Door jewel i made!!

and its time to leave that one alone now!! lol!!

I like the colour mate!! if you get the Home Bar and L+R Buttons that colour it will look sweet!! as for LEDs in the L+R, its easy to solder some 0603 LEDs or even 1206 will work in the buttons!! (they are bigger ones!!)
and if you have a PSP in Pink, you can now get Pink LEDs for the L+R buttons!! :P
looks kool (but dont tell anyone i said that!!) pmsl!!

Nice PSP's! I have CFW 5.00 m33-6 on my PSP Phat and my PSP Slim. Where did you get the wallpaper for your white PSP?

My PSP Phat. I bought this PSP for 10 bucks with a broken screen and a rusty UMD drive. I traded a friend a screen for some LED's and 30 AWG kynar wire, and I replaced the UMD drive with one I had lying around. And I installed CFW 5.00 m33-6 on this PSP.The kid I bought this PSP from also gave me a broken mp3 player and I used the backlight LED's from it to make the trigger LED's. So, this PSP only cost me 10 bucks.

The UMD door window is made from UMD case plastic.

hi guys... well thisis a bit od im posting in the PSP section......

(xxbox modder)

so yeah my mate ROO came over today with a PSP1000 that he got for £40.. it's pretty much new and yeah....

i took my first step's into modding psp.s.....

i read through the dissembly tut here on AM several times
took a screw driver to the beast....

and realised psp's are much more complex then 360's/pads....

but anyway i modded it.... (stuck some leds in the trigger bits)

so what do ya guys think.... not to bad for my first psp mod........

3 rgb leds in each L & R trigger
2 blue leds in speaker hole..
12 (4r,4g,4b leds.) in umd door. and
1 speaker in umd door.
