I have 2 PSP 1000's, what to do...

So I managed to get myself two PSP 1000's in the last two weeks.

One I found at the bottom of a bin in a pawn shop with a sticker saying "$5.00 PSP Paperweight" and turns out they just didn't charge the battery. The other I traded for an iPod Touch 8GB I repaired and purchased for $80.

Both came with 1GB sticks which I managed to trade up for a 4GB stick at some pawn shop.

Anyways I have decided I'm going to give one an all white case with red buttons and red sound reactive LED's. The other however wasn't expected so I don't have any plans for it. I already have a 2000 with a clear case that I'm going to be adding purple sound reactive LED's to as well.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'll probably mod it and sell it because I really don't need 3.

I'm in the process of modding 3 phats I acquired in the past few months. I'm putting clear cases on 2 of them and I'm not sure what to do with the third one yet. Maybe another clear case.

I was trying to stay away from Blue LED's because they are a little overused in my opinion but I'm thinking I might do the third one with a chrome case, speaker instead of UMD and blue LED's using white for the power, wlan and memory stick access ones.

Any comments? I'm still looking for suggestions, I'm not in a financial situation to start until next Friday anyways.

Try UV/Purple if you don't want to use blue. I used a chrome case before and the quality isn't very good. Maybe you could try the smoke black case.

I love chrome. If you do it right it can look great.

mod one, blow upthe the other.


put some fireworkpouder in the umd drive and close it with a resistor on a wire.
get a car battary and put the minus on minus and plus on the plus.
the resistor will go up in flames and the puder will ignite.

I love chrome. If you do it right it can look great.

I know you meant well but your video gave the opposite effect. I no longer want to do chrome, I don't really like the look.

As for blowing it up, no thanks. I landed on a really good deal here and I intend to make the best of it, even if blowing it up would be epic.

Personal preference. I'm glad it made you finalize your decision lol. (it's not my video btw its DubbleDutch's video of a customers psp)
You could maybe do a white case + red trim and buttons + red leds.
