V = I*R


your welcome lol......



In LEDs it is [Vsupply-Vf(led)]/Rlimit = Forward Current

so if you have 5Vsupply 3Vf and you are looking for 20mA you can rearrange and solve for Rlimit

[Vsupply-Vf(led)]/Forward Current = Rlimit

[5-3]/0.020 = Rlimit = 100ohm

yes V=IR

which rearrages to any of the following

V/I = R
V/R = I

where:
V = Potential Difference in Volts
I = Current in Amps
R = Resistance in Ohms
