PSP dual nubs
« on: October 07, 2009, 09:20:26 PM »
I have a question. I was thinking, if you wanted add a second nub to the psp couldnt you just buy a replacement and since the solder point on the razor x board are pretty much located the same way, could you use it instead of buying or making a razor x pcb?

Unfortunatly, there isn't enough room in the PSP to support a regular nub.

I saw a light mod done where the guy took out the normal charger plug and put in a mini usb female connector in its place, it took up about half the space, and leaves a little more room.

Thats what I'll be doing with my duel nub mod if I can get it working the way I want.

why not just do the USB charge mod, instead of adding another USB port?

how come the usb charge mod takes too long to charge...6 hours of charging still on 30%
viperfan91 (phat), thaq93 (psp phat parts)
pinoyballa  (2 phats ), tri-edge (slim)
Awilliams357- to be shipped

that is because a computers USB ports power out is really only meant for powering the usb device (usb dongle drive...) not charging a psp..

to charge faster, go to bestbuy and buy an adapter that turns USB into POWER OUTLET plug (usually around $20...ya..i know) and it will charge at the proper pace
