Hi. Amerikun Soljia here. <----and yes, I really am an American Soldier. I am in the U.S. Army, transportation Corps. Stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. I operate heavy machinery, forklifts, drive trucks, and all kinds of cool stuff. My rank is a Specialist, or E-4 the same thing as corporal, but the army doesn't really use the corporal rank much anymore.
I have been in the army almost 3 years, and I have another 3 to go to fufill my contract, but I plan to re-enlist for longer. I am 25 years old, originally from New York City, but I did live in Orlando, Fl for a long time as well. I have family in both states. I have one tour in Iraq under my belt, and I am about to go back again soon. Any questions just Pm me.

Thanks to all! I love this site, and I have only been here....what; like 2 weeks! Everybody here is extremely helpfull, courteous, and respectfull. I am glad to find a site with no flamers or dummies.

hahaha we got flamers and dummies! we just try to get rid of the flamers as quickly as possible... the dummies we just call em noobs and help em along cuz we all were noobs at one point.

Thanks to all. To kink192: No, unfortunately no mods yet. I once modded an original playstation to play japanese games once upon a time, but that was over 13 years ago. So yeah, it was the old square brick of a playstation from the 90's. These new consoles are really intimidating, but I have to learn at some point.
The only thing I can do is cosmetic exterior stuff. not even Led's. just cutting and painting and stuff.

Lol, aren't we all?! Thanks tho. My problem is that I dont get housing allowence because I am a single soldier, so I am supposed to live in the barracks, instead, I live off base in a house, so bills and rent and stuff get me. The barracks are nasty, ya know, plus they always check on you...

Wow, thanks guys! I just need basic equipment to start with. I have torques screwdrivers and small electronics screwdrivers, just no soldering equipment, leds, or wire. even the know how to do leds. No dremmel, nothing.
And yeah, I don't like having to get up an hour earlier than I need to every morning (0430am) to have my room inspected, and so they can make sure theres no females in there, and only allowed to have a six pack of beer, or a fifth of liquor. too many rules, so i pay out of pocket to live off base.
