Soooo here is my dell laptop inspiron 8600 I am not even sure what processor it has any more because in three different places it says a different one xD, but its running windows 7 o.O those specs are all correct (except for the type of CPU, the speed is right though)

how the f could it install :O

i tried windows 7 on my laptop (pretty old one)
1.5 ghz CPU
512MB Ram

and at the end of the install it said too bad your specifications do not have what is required to use windows 7
so it put me back onto windows xp where it used to run on.

I've run both Vista and 7 on a 2.5GHz Celeron with 1GB RAM. Sadly treemty still beat me :@
