ABXY button board...(help)

My buttons dont work correctly on the ABXY board (dropped phat psp) and I tried replacing the whole button board with a working one from a friend's PSP (phat too) but the buttons still dont work correctly, it still has the same problem...what gives?  :help: ...Any insight on this?

The zif connector on the motherboard or the powerboard might be dirty. I would clean it out with an alcohol swab and clean the ribbon cables and try again.
