its a promotion. they send you a code for xbox live. no scam, just a promotion. all the info they get from you is your phone number. theres no way to get any money from you

yeah, but how much do they charge to your phone bill for the text message? (you know, like how KGB charges $.99 per text message answer that gets added to your cell bill...)
