Need help fixing PSP 2000 - from Canada
« on: December 24, 2009, 09:22:06 PM »
I was trying to install a new case for my PSP 2000, and the screen's backlight won't light up again.  I think I was being too rough on the ribbon clamp for the backlight, can somebody help me fix it?

can you describe or take a picture of it. i assume that your clip on the connector has broken off. this happend to one of my mobo's as well. all i did was basically get a magnify class, and a tweezers. hold the clip and allign one side of the knubs on the  black clip and allign it bak into the hole in the connector. then slide your ribbon back in and close the clip.

I assume that IF your clip is broken or does not close properly then your backlight ribbon moves or is lose.

if you have any questions you can e-mail me at : jonyboy_462489@hotmail.com or add me to msn.

o it seems that your clip has fell out. you can buy replacements on ebay, etc for that connector. if you still have the broken clip maybe you can try and use the method i mentioned above and try and piece it back together

Don't have the broken clip anymore :3

Can you link me to an auction for the clip?  I don't know what it's called.
