argh dam wii homebrew and apps

I was trying to put an app onto my sisters wii, im doing every thing rite but the apps dont appear
i even followed a youtube link but no still no luck and my sis is on 4.1 and so is the dude on utube

the apps im putting in is
 wad_manager_v1
and ciosrev13a

but they dont appear wats so ever even tryed cahging them to a .elf

(i live in the uk and this is for gamecube back up....took me 6mnths to get street fighter vs snk and i dont want it ruined gamecube games are getting like hens teeth in the uk and i have about 33 games for game cube...ill post up pics to prove i own games i aint doings for freebies)

cheers for any info...ooh is there any place i can still buy original gamecube games (pal)?

They won't show up.
You have to install The Homebrew Channel and put those applications under /Apps/ on the memory card and then they'll show up under HBC.

They stay as .dol.

You're not going to be able to play gamecube backups properly. It won't work through the disk channel, and it won't work using just cIOS.
You'll need a gamecube backup loader. I forget the name of the one I have.
It works maybe 75% of the time for me. You'll need to run that through HBC, you won't need WAD Manager for it unless you're installing a channel to the main home screen that links to the application in the HBC.

What hack are you using? Bannerbomb?

i have the homebrew channel up every other app i have has shown up just thoose 1 wont :(

Have you gone to the very end of the apps (scroll all the way to the right) and looked for them?
Those often show at the end because there's no XML document.
