Ok, I know there are a lot of Mac users on this forum and I didn't mean to offend anyone, but for the record, let me explain my official position on Macs. 

What makes them GOOD:  Great OS; very efficient; great with graphics and a lot less taking than Windows.

What makes them BAD:  VERY overpriced; for example, if you took a $2400 Macbook or whatever, and took those components in a PC, it would cost about a quarter of the price.  You are really paying for the nice looks (apple logo, thin computer, keyboard) and the OS, which you could theoretically install in a PC as well.

That is the general idea of it.  There are some other small details, but that is the main idea.  I didn't mean to offend anyone, I was just doing a character imitation.

well if you think about it, after all is said and done (if done LEGALLY) you could end up spending a lot of money just on a windows based laptop.

fyi the entry level price of a macbook (in the US at least) is $1000
