UMD Issue PSP Phat

Hey mate im here again. I just wanna ask all psp master if they encounter this kind of problems..

Im on 5.50 GEN-D FUll version

When i start my psp by turning on the power without UMD Disc. It will stuck up on somethings look likes wave.

But when i insert the umd then restart the unit. It will start automatically....

is there any  solution  correct settings to get rid out of this?

press select on the home screen and change umd required to m33 driver

this usually happens when you have a hardware problem, they way i fixed this is to disable the SCE screen, it will boot to XMB faster. is the umd drive switch pushed in? if it is, (possible tape or glue), itll make the PSP think a UMd is inserted, and try to load a game even though there isnt one.

Thanks mate. How can i disable the SCE sccreen ??? The umd drive switch is already pushed in.

The recovery menu, honestly, I don't have a PSP anymore, and I last used 5.00 m33, I just remember you went to the R-trigger menu, and under one of those settings was the ability to disable that screen.

put your psp in recover mode and select "format flash 1 and reset settings" which is in "advanced ->" this fixes the frozen waves when you turn your psp on. everything should be fine. thats what i do. its a problem the GEN has when you upgrade to GEN D full. you should upgrade to GEN D3
