You dont exactly need the breadboard, it just keeps things clean.  You can go to radioshack and by a little breadboard for a couple bucks.

Ya, i use a bread board because it keeps things clean.  The only wires that are being soldered to the bread board are the + and - wires.

Is there a pacific one to buy or? also when you finished soldering the breadboard and you going to do a led mod like for ABXY buttons your got wires coming off them do you solder them in any hole on the breadboard or not if you know what i mean. Thanks again.

You can get any kind of breadboard, they have them on ebay.  What you want to do is choose 1 side of holes to be for your + wires and choose the other side for your - wires.
Lets say your bread board is laying sideways and you choose to use 2 rows of holes, 4 holes on each row. It will look like this,

1234 - these are your holes for + wires
5678 - these are your holes for - wires

After you decide which holes you want for + and - wires, your gonna solder 1 wire from the + side of holes to a positive solder point, and then solder 1 wire from the - side of holes to a ground point.
