Trigger replacement - metal triggers
« on: July 07, 2010, 03:08:33 PM »
I've been wanting to do this for a while but never really got round to it. I just wanted to put it out as an idea. It's basically a trigger replacement - you buy paintball/airsoft/real gun triggers and modify them to fit the xbox. I thought it might go well with the shell buttons as a mod.

if someone could make this mod, and have it looking excellent, they should put it yp in the AM Shop. also when somebody does this, they should use the metal part of the shotgun shell as a D-Pad. like a controller tribute to real guns. that'd be amazing

I might try and do this actually... In my case the trouble is getting hold of some shells...

And I was thinking getting some oak or cherry and making varnished grips at the side...

It would have to be a very small revolver :P

Trouble is in England guns are illegal and I don't have a licence.

the revolver idea is good.. but it takes a heck of a saw to cut through the revolver cylinder. you could do it with a Dremel and it would be a tough job.

side note: Guns are illegal in England! wow i did not know that.

Surely you could just buy replacement triggers from somewhere?

He wants to use a cut off revolver cylinder for the dpad. the shortest revolver cylinder you could find would still be 1.5 inches long at the shortest. so you would have to cut that in half atleast to fit it for the dpad.
