PS3 Modded Button to Circle
« on: February 26, 2011, 06:32:10 PM »
Ok so i want to know where would be the place to solder on the motherboard where i can have another button that would do the same function as the circle button.
Main reason so when i play black ops i can drop shot buy pressing a button with my ring finger instead of using my thumb and taking my thumb away from the analog.
I have a slim ps3 and the controller with it i believe 5th gen.
Thanks for your time

Saying the controller is a 5th gen doesn't help any at all.

Here are the PS3 controller versions that I'm aware of to date, as well as where you would have to solder to for a duplicate O button. COM2 and O are the connections you'll need to make for the new O button.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

I been lookin all over and i only find sites that do them for you and not just sell the buttons.
