Needs help for circuit diagram
« on: March 30, 2011, 07:21:22 AM »
Can anyone help me make a diagram of a sound reactive hold activated LED mod.
i am going to use the lm386 chip and 6 blue LED 2 on the trigger and four on the jewels.

I am kinda confused where to put the connections of the supply.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!!!

First, the tutorials section is not the right section for questions, the tutorials section is for tutorials.

Second, look through the section you posted in the diagram was not only right there, but even clearly labeled as such:  [Psp Phat] lm386 sound reactive mod diagram by rgarjr <-- Click the link.

The 30kohm and 191kohm resistors are not for the LEDs they are to regulate the voltage coming from the speakers to the lm386. You will still need to calculate the proper resistor values for your LEDs.

please disregard cobi's post.

cobi, the diagram you posted wa given to you so you can amplify the sound coming from the psp to drive a larger speaker. this member is using the lm386 for sound reactive leds.

If you dont know what your talking about, please leave answering technical questions to the professionals, as all you have done here is confuse this young man. I appreciate your eagerness to help
