PL2222 transistor

Is PL2222 same  as 2n2222 transistor?
The guy from the electronics store here said its the same thing.
Can some1 point out the difference.

I don't know the specs on the PL2222, but someone's taken the time to make a Wiki on the 2N2222. It'll get you going in the right direction.

But in your opinion w/c is better, using 2n2222 or lm386?

Ok, i bought another transistor today and it said "KSP 2222A"
Is this the 2n2222?

KSP 2222A and 2N2222 are interchangeable, pretty much the same thing.

As yet for the PL2222 transistor, just find the manufacture's name and you can cross reference equivalent components from their website/catalog.
