it appears the whole entire PlayStation®Network (all PlayStation®Network and Qriocity services including stores, account management, external auths and CST are currently unavailable since approx 5am GMT this morning.) for emergency maintenance sony is aware and more information will be posted when there is some

this is not anny more likly due to the treat there uping the protection as stated in the news few days ago.

i miss live but paying is just a rip off since i only played 3-5 days out of 1 months

I don't believe this has anything to do with anon. After everyone complained about the network being down, they said they were not going to do these kind of attacks. That an alternative weapon against sony will be used.
It's probably SONY's fault. Their network is crap at best. I like my PS3 but I do not like their network. I do miss xbox live multiplayer but my wallet is enjoying saving money.
If MS lowered the price for live a lil bit , I'd go dig one of my box's out and do an xclamp and be back up live pooping on kids in FPS's.
Side note, since I don't have online multiplayer I don't play my FPS games as much. Which has given me the time to work on my mods. If i had online with the new SOCOM i would probably not be sitting here writing you now because you wouldn't be able to get the controller out of my hand.

1 movie theater ticket costs more than live.. I sure hope you arent seeing any movies. If not having live is saving you money, imagine cutting out trips to the theater lol

I only go to drive in theaters and that's not often enough.
Also the money is not my only reason for not having live, its more a frustration with the hardware itself.

I remember early SOCOM 1 days SONY network was not bad. I always liked how you had a choice on what room or game you entered. Like if a match was in progress it would let you know before entering and you didn't have to join. It also told what map it was , how many people were playing and how good the signals were. There were a lot of glitches tho. But the glitching was more respectable than now. Most of the time people created glitching rooms and since you always had a choice not to join a room , you didn't get stuck in some craziness. But people glitched mostly for fun not to boost points. There are always exceptions of coarse and people who abuse things. But all in all , it was fun either way. I wish they would give us that choice not to join in progress again. sorry for the double post

yeah i remember them den good old day before

happened by spoiled kids wanting this and that on the psn it was really good when kids could not go and buy a ps3 due to the 499 price what great gaming on the ps3 i had then but now all we have a kid fing games up and sales of games a 90% due to kids really

well overall i have bin a ps3 player for 3 years. i do also own a xbox. both networks are decent. since xbox is more popular it has more players and thus a batter p2p netowrk for most games ie COD. but ps3 is not that bad ether. What i see that is lacking is the porting of games to the ps3. as for netflix, it would not let me use it on the ps3 because i have to log in .

I use netfix on both xbox and PS3 ,set ps3 to log in auto and save password then its fine.

the network is completely shut down they flicked the switch intill they figure out how to fix the exploit
