formatting hdd to install windows for pc

  i was wondering if there was anyway i could format my 360s hdd to work on my computer as a normal pc hdd so i could install windows on it and ect. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

try using a partition software and delete the partition then make it ntfs and format im sure you can do it

the odd thing is it doesent show up on either windows xp 7 or ubuntu

google it, there is a program that you can download, so that you can format the hard drive and use it in a laptop or pc.

Hard disk low level format, not sure what exactly its called thats what the program says on my desktop..I used a 120gb xbox 360 hard drive for my wii and that is what i used to format the drive so nothing was left on it from the xbox 360

I just plugged mine in and formatted like normal with win 7.

I now have XP installed on it as part of a dual boot, works fine.
