Hooray, more people that used my pics without asking or giving credit where they came from, just stuck them in a PDF.

Plus this info is already pinned, and far more up to date. - https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,24977.0.html

90 % of the good controller scans and pics on the net are RDC'S

Didn't say took, said used without asking or giving credit. Click the link and then the link in my post there, you'll see where they came from. I also doubt you'll find too many PS3 R/F tutorials without some of my pics in them as well, again without anyone asking. Imitation is supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery, but when people make money off of what you did or essentially claim it's theirs by not having the facts of it stated, it's a completely different thing.

I post pics and info for everyone to use, so I don't mind the info getting around, but to use it to make money or not give credit where it came form, that's what's wrong with it.

Thanks modded matt, and I saw that 'All images are copyrighted by their respective owners.' crap, what a load. If it would have been 20 different pics by 20 different people I can see using that line, but they were all done by me and came from the same place, so it's not like a ton of work was put into it on their part, and it would have been far easier to just say 'All images by RDC from XS' or something similar and at least be honest about it, instead people post this stuff up and put in some BS like that and no one is going to think twice about it. It's just a personal gripe I have, so when the next batch of consoles rolls around I'll have to either water mark up the pics, making them crap IMHO or just sit on the info so it does no one any good.

No offense taken, least not form anything you did. You found useful info and posted it to help out, that's fine, my gripe is with the people that use it in the way they did, not what you did. ;)

I had this thread brought to my attention and have since been in touch with RDC, and resolved the copy right issues and he has agreed for the images to be used in the guides.

All guides containing the images will be updated with new captions.

lol my quote was Intended to be sarcastic lol. There are not many people making highrez scans and pics of thes boards. I have posted a few, but not to the extent you have, if I see a board with a black background, and the components cleanly removed I know its RDC. and we all appreciate it....alot they have helped me on many occasions. they are also the pics used in hazers tutorials, so in essence any one who has installed gameplay, bmu, or flex has used your pics.

I use my 15meg dslr with macro to make mine.. but i dont share much

Thanks.

Hazer asked first though, which puts him on a really, really short list of people that have actually done that before using them.

I'm glad that people get use from them, and even I go back and look over them from time to time when working on some things. It's just the people that use it to make money that are going to jack it up for everyone else the next go around.
