Hello everyone

I have an idea for a PS3 controller mod that I have never seen done before, its really stupid actually but it will be fun to do.
BUT..... I need help finding some things to actually do this mod, I need parts, real parts not ripoffs, and they need to be cheap.
I will not release any info about the mod as I want to be the first to do it. So if any one can PM me with the information I need I would be very thankful.

PS. Whom ever replies with the most reliable info will be the first to find out what the mod is

Hahah yeah sorry I don't want to say what parts exactly it might give away the mod. I just need the parts that would make up a PS3 controller, like replacement parts.

I have a complete PS3 controller that just needs the spring and little bar thing to hold in the L2 button. Other than that its fully functional.

Well I need a lot of each part, I wish I could say what I'm doing, actually I could even use parts from the PSP 2000. When you all see this mod you see why its stupid but cool.

I don't want to spend that much as I already have a controller that I'm going to use for the mod, really I need to buy a lot of the parts individually or a lot of one part for cheap. (I just got a new job and don't have a lot to spend)

I found a few sites a while back but I don't know how trusted they are (I don't want to buy something and never get it)
and I need complete parts, for example , if i need a D-pad i need it to come with the backing (pad).

WOW that's a good deal, but the parts I need would be from like 6 controllers hahah hope I'm not giving to much away. Thanks for the help, I'm still looking too. I kinda want to tell some one what the mod is, but I need the parts first.

ahh. so like 6 controllers with dead boards, for buttons, pads, etc. cheapest you can find them would be like 5-10 each

lol... ur being way to vague for me to help you.

the best place to buy parts would be ebay. I don't know what you have against bidding sites.. but I use them all of the time.

for the amount of money you want to spend, for each thing just won't happen. your best bet is to buy a lot of broken ps3 controllers. you will get all of the parts for cheap. if you buy them individually, it will cost more.

Yeah I know that's the point, your not supposed to know what the mod is. but I did give all the info needed to know what I was asking.
I have bought a lot of things off eBay and have been ripped off and didn't know until about a week after I was supposed to get me stuff (they were high rated sellers), I did get my money back it just wasn't worth the wait.

Wireless...if you can wait for the free shipping its worth it...

Take a picture of your L2 and I can see what I can do for you for parts. There are 3 different triggers for PS3 controllers.

Yeah I think this mod is going to be extremely different from what your expecting. See I need 5-8 of some of the same parts for this one mod.
