According to a press release from Square Enix, they will be going ahead with the release of their new online game Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PSVita and for the PS3.
But many are skeptical about the new game release due to a quoted "Epic Decline" in the popularity of the last online Final Fantasy game (Final Fantasy XIIV (14)) due to the low storyline content and predictable multiplayer features.
They claim that a complete remake of FFXIIV is in the making as well as a remake of FFX (fFinal Fantasy 10) for the PSVita. Both are being done in hopes to revive the Final Fantasy brand into a more modern look and feel.
I personally think that the Final Fantasy gaming series started to decline after the release of Final Fantasy 9 when they started to remove the two things that mad intrigued players to buy the next game.
1. - The Awesome Storyline
2. - The Magic Powers
So is Square Enix decision to remake FFX and FFXIIV for the PSVita a good decision or should they have left well enough alone?
