Phantoms 360 Mod - WIP

this is my 360 i started for the AM Winter mod off, i never finished it and has been gathering dust ever since. so ive started working on it again, just in time as i see rodent is whining about unfinished mods (jk) lol.

this is just seeing if it all fits, none of the fans are plugged in yet.





ive started on a new case from a dead xbox, im still working on it as you can see. its a non hdmi case so ill have to cut a section out for the port aswel.



this is my RROD antidote I had to remove the memory card ports, cut the front portion of the metal chasis and the plastic case, then i had to redesign the faceplate, im still working on getting it to sit flush, i might just glue it in place.

still got alot to do..

Really nice job i remember this mod in the winter mod off, and was wondering what happen to it. I forgot who was working on it and never got to look at the finished mod... so thanks for taking the effort to finish it.

Are those fans for hot air expulsion, or for cold air intake?

This mod really got me thinking, you removed the memory ports i am suprised it doesnt kick an error code... or is there a way you can by pass it so it sitll thinks the memory ports are still in place?

It would just read is as there is no memory card inserted. It would be like taking out the usb ports. it would just think there is nothing connected to the usb port.

the fans intake cold air, i will test the temperatures when i have it up and running.

yeah those ports are pretty hard to get off, so long as you dont take out any other components while taking them off, you will get no errors.

here are my 13 LED's for the ROL mimic, these are going behind the fans in the faceplate. there isnt much room so im not sure if i will be abe to do it the way i want.



and ive pretty much finished the case so ill be able to start painting it,

painted the front case, this is what it looks like with some light behind it... Im really happy with how its looking so far.
