replace psp nub with ps2

I want to completely remove the PSP analog and have a ps2 analog replace it. I know how to wire up the ps2 analog just n3ed to know can I wire it up to the 4 pads on the mobo were the PSP analog would have been connected to? Its a phat psp

is it possible to solder them to the mobo and get rid of the psp analog all together instead of soldering to analog like in pic?

yer thats fine, just remember to take into consideration the orientation of the psp nub in the picture

I would suggest using a mini USB interface on the side of the PSP, it would be like 10 minutes of dremel/solder work extra to get the thing in, and would give you a much better control interface. I believe that Nic0 was the one to do that first, do a quick search of it.
