Microsoft X-Box Kinect games device has a video camera and a microphone that records speech. Microsoft has stated that users "should not expect any level of privacy concerning your use of the live communication features," and the company "may access or disclose information about you, including the content of your communications."
Whats it matter? Unless your a terrorist or a child molester you have nothing to worry about... perhaps this is a good thing.
well last thing i want is redmond all in a laughing stock because i was playing what ever game with just shorts on
erm. idk. just thought it was interesting. if someone wants me that bad to watch and stalk me through a kinect, ill give em my address. no toad you cannot have my addressssss
In your xbl profiles privacy settings you can select custom and say not allowed to microsoft recording your voice and things like that. I forget the actual wording of the option, but there is an option for it.
It matters because MY privacy is being invaded no matter if im innocent or guilty. I have a right to privacy and I don't want to be a sheep like the rest. Most likely won't help your cause if this story is true.
As soon as you acquire an internet connection your right to privacy is kind of out the window.. and whats "sheep" got to do with privacy? btw, this is America..assuming you have rights is the first step in the sheep direction lol You have the right to remain silent, thats about it.
