BEGINNING 4/16/12
i need a display piece to keep my customers entertained while i do repairs in my shop.So i figured i would make a table that showed off my skills and looked good in the shop plus i wanted the customers to be able to play games or surf the web.the plan is to  throw in a jtag 360 with a 2 tb hdd.a full media center PC and a ps3 slim modded with 3.55.and i will be using the kinnect to make the table touch screen with a hack i found online.im using a 32 inch led lcd tv that i won in a local mod contest .here are a few pics so far.

i plan on making the mounts for the tv and adding the legs today.will have more pics soon.


UPDATE 4/16/12
ok so i got the tv mounted and tested evrything works great i also got the screen bezel cut and fitted just need to sand it down and paint it.still have to add the legs but here are a few pics and video test will start again in the morning.

inside bezel painted all black waiting for it to dry meanwhile on my way o home depot to get supports for legs.

ok so i glued and tacked the bezel in place and clamped it down now i will start the legs.

OK BEZEL IN PLACE AND CAME OUT PERFECT NOW I HAVE TO PAINT THE RIM OF THE FRAME BLACK.GONNA START ON LEGS TOMORROW HERE ARE A FEW PICS.

UPDATE 4/18/12
OK SO I GOT THE LEGS FINISHED AND INSTALLED TOMORROW I WILL PANT THE RIM BLACK ADD SIDE MOLDING AND WIRE UP THE PC AND FUNCTION KEYS UNDERNIETH THE TABLE TO KEEP THE SLEEK LOOK.I AM GONNA STAIN THE TABLE AND PANT THE MOLDING BLACK HERE ARE A FEW PICS.

UPDATE 4/19/12
started putting things togather installed the pc and mounted the control panel testing screen agian i let it run all night without fans stayed cool to the touch will still be adding fans anyway.here is a few pics and a video test.

I think you should stain the wood a dark maroon red. That would look very nice.

so far its only coast me 120 bucks i won the tv had the pc already this was a spare pc i had lying around i got like 10 360 and ps3 all over the shop.glass might coast a bit not sure yet but the hole build should not be more then 220 at most.i am staining it to match the sofa and room that it will set in you can see the chair color in the pics above.it will have black molding.

i have cut molding for the edges and painted them black to go with the couch and to blend with the black glass and bezel

UPDATE 4/20/12
ok gave it 3 coats of stain and 2 clear coats the stain matchs the sofa in the waiting area also painted the trim for sides.painting the rim of the table back now here are a few pics and video.

UPDATE 4/21/12
got alot done today the molding has been installed and the stain came out a perfect match for my waiting area sofa still have to install the surround sound system ps3 and xbox and glass will be getting glass within the next 3 days but here are a few pics.

here is a sound test of the 3.1 surround system installed the bass is a beast in this thing i love it.
still waiting on my glass tabletop.
