Nes portable finished

Hello. This is my nes portable. It uses a third party nes, the retro bit nes. It's nothing compared to the official nintendo, but it is very small. This portable uses a modified ipod touch case. I'ts very small. It's so small that it even fits in my pocket and it's smaller than the game itself! It was a really tight fit. It weighs about 1 lb with the game in. This took me exactly 1 month to make. I made this because I was inspired by this https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,41117.0.html also because I fell in love with the nes starting when matt put the vnes here.

features:
-retro bit nes
-3.5 inch screen
-speaker with volume control
-charging jack
-headphone jack
-8 hour battery life!!
-game boy color d-pad and a/b buttons
-glossy black paint job

on most of the game carts there is not much in them you could try making the cart a bit smaller

NES carts are very small only like 1" by 2.5" . Good idea white.

thx for the picture pete just shows how small you can make your own case for. the only one ive seen that was big was zelda not sure which one think its the golden cart one

Or just the fact that the console was as big as it was, and they needed the cartridge to be big enough to be able to put it in and out of the console.

i got a snes but they are rare were i am its the only one ive seen by me for 10years

Thanks guys for the feedback!  I've been thinking about making a smaller game cartridge before. Sorry whitetop, someone already beat you! I had a lot of fun making this project, and I'll probably make more projects like this.

It would be awesome to do a commission, but it would not be cheap! lol. This project costed me almost $200.

Thanks again guys. lol. I played it on the bus today, and everybody was just so shocked at how big the game was! They all thought I purchased this, but I was like no. lol
