Old school back with a 360 slim. Lost touch with mods and flash need help

How trustworthy is the site for the chip? I am a little concern when it comes to buying online.

Yeah I can I mean what would be the benefits of the xkey other than running game on external hard drive.

Will I be able to shut it off ( by that disable it) and run live with bought game?

The whole point is so I can run game on a hard drive and then disable that run bought game on optical drive and on live. I know having hack will be easily picked up and ban which is why I want to disable it when I do run live.

your better off just flashing the dvd drive if your going to rgh the console .   or just flash the dvd drive and don't RGH it if you want to play on xbl .  Or pay me or gizmo  to dual nand a console for you , then you can do both

lol, i have talked to few on xbox scene and for the most part the easy way to go is the xkey other than flash which require me to pay for dumb DL disc and waste gas. This is the only site that gave me reason to go with RGH or Jtag haha but the con is not being able to do live doesn't seem all that what I want.

I think I'll try xkey hay if it doesn't work out I can always sell it on ebay hahahaha earn my money back and just flash it.

yes but  you can always pick up a cheap console and a demon to dual nand it.  I do them all the time.

Like i said in the other post, the corona does not have the CLK speed. it requires a seperate 48mhz oscillator in conjunction with a coolrunner to rgh your console. With it, you can obtain the cpu key. with your cpu key entered into jrunner, it will decrypt your nand and give you the dvd key needed to flash your drive into whatever you want.

I  would love to see a decent instalkl and review of the xkey. If I had not gotten very lucky, that was what I was planning on buying. I would not have needed the extra junk since I have phat. Seemed like the xkey was the cheapest and easiest route.

Well I bought the tools today. Couldn't afford to get the xkey yet and I had to look for another site that sells the 48Mhz ceramic Oscillator. Luckily its a local online site with a store located in my state, so I will see how it all goes once I get it. Didn't have enough for the xkey had to pay ebay for outstanding due and get my nephew a replacement screen on his psp 3000. I still have $30 saved and I have 3 client who owes me so No problem here i'll wait next week in the meantime i'll wait for the RGH tool and try out to get the key, store it and start modding the shell then get the xkey.

So I got most of my hardware in the mail today. Thanks Rodent and Gizmo for the site really they deliver fast.






Unfortunately I wasn't able to order the 48Mhz Ceramic Oscillator from the same site. But I got it off electronic site and it will arrive in the mail monday.

So now I guess what is left is to figure out before the Oscillator arrive how or where to solder it.

So I am peiceing together what I might have to do as I move on with the hack

I went ahead and installed the QSB Corona 4gb to the board


I also found how I am suppost to connect the 48 ceramic Oscillator to CR ver c


1 & 4 to 3v3
2 to ground
3 to B

Question is Where do I tie the CR to the board?

Will I need to add additional wire to 3V3, Ground and B to jump to the board??

yes you will need extra wires for 3.3v and ground. b goes straight to the oscillator. it doent connec to the xbox, hence why you need the oscillator. the coolrunner comes with wires for slim and phats. use those wires from the phat to connect 3.3v and ground.
