Is they still money in custom controllers ?

Hi, I remember a  year or two ago people would make custom controllers with the led lights and nice paint jobs and then sell them on ebay for a nice profit .... Could people still do that now?
I'm asking because that's what I want to start doing.

This, I got into it a little time back, but now I have a few extra controllers and parts lying around that I don't have much hope of selling for much, but I often do it for my own personal use and for friends.

However, once the Xbox One comes out, there'll either be
1) almost no one making custom controllers for it
2) lots of people/companies will stop selling modded 360 controllers and start selling modded One controllers.

It'll be option 1 for the first few weeks, but making modded controllers has turned into a business for a lot of people, and I don't see them stopping when there will still be money to make from it.

There is money in them but not like there use to be years ago. now kids want everything for nothing  so you need to make a couple and show them off and get known.

I agree with rodent,i customize controllers and consoles all the time,Alot Of people who afe interested in buying  them ,either want them for cheap or almost free.they never understand that its not worth selling it for cheaper than the $ we already have spent on materials and labor.
