No you can only have it "red" or "blue" I knew it didn't have different modes but thought the "red" would look red and not purple lol

I shouldn't have to change the LEDs! On the website it says you can either have them BLUE or RED, not purple, but oh well

just a suggestion you should try checking the colors with the play and charge kit in.sometimes with LED's if your battery power is low the LED's will fade or change colors. it's also possible that if there's a loose connection on your soldering that the LED's may not be getting the Jjuice needed to power them correctly. If all these scenarios do not work then I guess you got what you paid for.

A little known fact is that Modiify is all run by one guy with a bit of help from his family.

I've bought a few console mods from Modiify and have been unsatisfied with most. They aren't well designed and the after sales service is next to nothing.

If you would read on Acidmods many members make there own PCB's  (Printed Circuit Boards)  which i am sure the guy a modify.com    is either making them himself or having them made for a very cheap price , more you buy the cheaper they get  in most cases.
google is you friend..
and what he said!

Take another photo of the mod lit up with the plastic cover off...

The LED's are probably separate red and blue lights.

In your first picture there is a green wire that says "VCC" on the white board. That's the positive ( + ) terminal of the LED.
The others are negative terminals for the LEDs. One wire goes to one set and the other wire goes to the other set.
