left anologe swap.

So I came across a busted XB1 controller and decided to post a left anologe swap. I got a little impatient and forgot to take a photo of the before anologe so I just took a pic of the busted anologe and a after pic of the swap. The swap took about 5 min top.

I got the controller for 25$ so I plan on putting my chip inside and a remapper chip with some left over kit shell peices from my gf install. I figure I can sell it on eBay for around 140$. Should be a good turn around.

I'd double check how that stick centers up now, as those things are calibrated from the factory with the sticks that are put in them, and no two of those things are every exactly the same. Use some picky game, like Titanfall, and make sure there's no drift as it's not going to turn up in every one.

I would really like to know how this went. I have a day one controller that has all but quit on the left tick. When playing cod it will start to move forward and then almost to a crawl speed. If i extend all the way forward and click the sprint it takes 5-10 steps in sprint and stops to a slow walk. I really think it happened after i updated my controller for the new headset adapter. I would like to know if i can install a new one or is there a way to adjust these. PLEASE HELP this is almost impossible to use!

Everything worked out fine. When I tested it it had no drift issues basically worked like a new controller.I just put one of my own Chip inside and sold it to a friend for 70$. He told me it works fine with no issues and I'm sure he would of called me by noe if something dident work. Maybe I got lucky? I've only done this once for xb1 and it worked fine for me and my friend Mark!

After work I'll see if I can borrow the controller and post a video of it working. I'll try to keepbeveryone updatedvon this!
