D15, D25, C23 value on xbox elite controller
« on: June 12, 2019, 02:21:01 AM »
I decided to order with ebay elite controller. When it arrived, it worked fine, however over time I noticed that the right stick doesn't reach 100% in the right direction and can't make a complete even turn. I decided to replace the analog, but after replacing the problem has not disappeared, but I noticed that the Board is missing these parts

D15
C23
D25

Also, after I put the gamepad back together, I noticed that jack 3.5 stopped working, although I did not break anything and worked carefully. So I want to ask what could have gone wrong.

Sorry for my English

D15 and D25 are just Transient suppressors, surge protection. They are not going to cause any issues if they are removed.

C23 is 100nF, it will also not cause any issues if it is missing.

Hard to tell what caused the 3.5mm to stop working, assuming that it worked before, that thing can be installed upside down and then none of the contacts touch. Lots and lots of tiny components around there also.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

It's a 1.8v line at most, so you are not going to get a Capacitor that will not work in there voltage wise, anything rated 6.3v or more will work fine.
