Question About Chotto Sho Night Vision Mod

Just a quick question. After doing the mod, will the camera still work the same. Or after removing the ir filter, will the camera only work in the dark and be  in the day?

So long as you dont damage it, the cammera will work perfectly in the day time.

It does? For some reason when I had the ir filter out it made things seem paler. Could have been a difference in lighting though...

Dont worry though, either way you can just put it back in and it will be the same as before. Also, while taking the ir filter out, you may just want to pry it out instead of cutting it...

You could alway mount the IR filter on a lens cap type device, pop it on during the day and off during the night, that is if taking pictures during the day is that important to you.

I have two chotto shots. I left one as normal so I can video my kids and stuff in the daytime, and then I modded the other so I can video my wife and I going at it.  She loves holding the camera and watching the vids later.  Chicks. They love to see themselves.
