dam, seems youre having more luck or skill whichever one, mine just wont turn the gamecube screws...but theyre so far in I cant see whats wrong, maybe Ill try it with my n64.

It wasnt to bad. I just had a go at it and got one screw out after a bit of a struggle. Then used that screw to get it perfect. I'll mesure it out if that helps

ok, and I think my problem is that the groove isnt deep enough into the head...I think its wide enough, cause its 3 cds thick, which is the suggested thickness, and I can really go that much wider, but Ill try making it deeper, see if that helps, not sure when Ill be able to do that though,...but please do measure it too, Ill see if thats the problem before I dremel more out.

Just checked mine and it is 3 cds wide. Its about 4mm deep. I also made tapered it to the tip, so its quite sharp. Let me know how you get on.

Alright, Ill check when I get home, and do you have any idea how to make triwing drivers for opening the sp?

Funny you should say that, I've been thinking about giving it a go. I guess we could just cut the top of a normal driver and just cut the shape into it.

Hmm....thats true, but thatd be some fine and precise filing or whatever form we use to do that...and as for the gamecube screwdriver, mine is just a bit too big, so Ill probably use that one if I decide to make a SP one, since you cant un-dremel...dam, I wish there was undo in real life....

nice. its better than what i did. I melted the tip of a pen and made a "mold" of the screw, and let it harden up. Then I used that.

Yeah, thats what I may have to end up doing....I dont have one readily available, but what do the NES screws look like?

I dont remember the nes screws I havent go one heree to check, but I think there the same as the snes.

Dose that pen trick work? I didnt think it would so I never even tried.

and how exactly did u get the screws off ur Gameboy? cuase of the stupid 3 pronged screws.....

I just used a small flathead and will power. It seemed to take about 2 hours.

I made the first one for my N64, and the second for my gb. The first is on most nintendo consoles, the second is on most of the nintendo handhelds.

Ah, right.

I used a flathead to unscrew the gameboy. The first time it was bloody impossible. Took so long. Now they're pretty loose and so it's really easy to unscrew.
